Terms & Conditions
NOTE: The summary of hire terms and conditions listed here are for your information only. The terms and
conditions listed on the actual hire agreement take precedence once the actual hire agreement has been
entered into.
Driver Requirements
The vehicle may be driven during the period of the hire only by the persons named in the agreement. The
principal driver and any additional driver's details must be listed and they must hold a current drivers license
appropriate for the vehicle.
Duration of Hire
The term of the hire shall commence and cease at the time and dates described within the hire agreement. The
hirer remains liable for additional rental charges if the vehicle is not returned by the specified time and date.
Payment by Hirer
The hirer shall pay to the owner the full amounts indicated in the agreement for the hire of the vehicle including
insurance coverage fees, and any such additional charges as indicated in the hire agreement. In the event of a
accident occurring the hirer will be liable to pay a extra 3000 Baht and lose the 2000 Baht deposit in order to fill
the insurance requirements. At no time will the hirer be responsible for paying any sum over 5000B.
SMOKERS Please Note: Some or all of your deposit could be forfeited in the event of cigarette burns in seats or
upholstery.
Hirers Obligations
The hirer shall ensure that the vehicles radiator water and battery water level are maintained at proper levels,
the oil level is checked and maintained at the proper level, and that the tires are maintained at the proper
pressure.
The hirer shall ensure that ail reasonable care is taken in handling and parking the vehicle and that the vehicle
is left securely locked when not in use.
The cost of petrol and other fuel, but not oil, used during the term of the hire is the responsibility of the hirer.
Insurance Requirements
Our FULLY Comprehensive Insurance is for the hirer and any additional listed driver of the vehicle are fully
indemnified in respect of any liability to the owner for loss or damage to the vehicle and its accessories and
spare parts, and any consequential loss of revenue or other expenses of the owner including towing or salvage
costs associated with the recovery of the vehicle. Indemnity is subject to exclusions below.
Indemnity Exclusions
The indemnities referred to above shall not apply where damage, injury or loss arises when -
(a) The driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol or any drug that affects his ability to drive the
vehicle
(b) The vehicle is in an unsafe or un-roadworthy condition that arose during the course of the hire and that
caused or contributed to the damage or loss, and that the hirer or driver was aware of or ought to be aware of
the unsafe or un-roadworthy condition of the vehicle.
(c) The vehicle is operated in any race, speed test, rally or contest
(d) The hirer is not a body corporate or department of state and the vehicle is driven by any person not-named
as being authorized to drive the vehicle as listed in the hire agreement.
(e) The vehicle is driven by any person who at the time when he drives the vehicle is disqualified from holding, or
who has never held, a license appropriate for that vehicle.
Mechanical Repairs and Accidents
If the vehicle is damaged or requires repair or salvage, whether because of an accident or breakdown, the hirer
shall advise the owner of the full circumstances by telephone or telegram as soon as practicable.
The hirer shall not arrange or undertake any repairs or salvage without the authority of the owner except to the
extent that the repairs or salvage are necessary to prevent further damage to the vehicle or other property.
The hirer shall ensure that no person shall interfere with the distance recorder or speedometer, or, except in an
emergency, any part of the engine, transmission, braking, or suspension systems of the vehicle.
Use of Vehicle
The hirer shall not use or permit the vehicle to be used for the carriage of passengers for hire or reward.
The hirer shall not -
(a) Sublet or hire the vehicle to any other person
(b) Permit the vehicle to be operated outside his authority
(c) Operate the vehicle, or permit it to be operated in circumstances that constitute an offence by the driver,
which relates to driving or attempting to drive with excess breath or blood alcohol or under the influence of drink
or drugs.
(d) Operate the vehicle or permit it to be operated in any race, speed test, rally or contest
(e) Operate the vehicle or permit it to be operated to tow any other vehicle
(f) Operate the vehicle or permit it to be operated for the transport of more than the number of passengers, or
more weight of goods specified in the certificate of loading for the vehicle
(g) Drive or permit the vehicle to be driven by any person who is not a holder of a current driver's license
appropriate for the vehicle
Return of Vehicle
The hirer shall, at or before the expiry of the term of the hire, deliver the vehicle to the address detailed in the
agreement, or obtain the owners consent to the continuation of the hire. When ever possible all vehicles are
hired out in a clean condition, therefore it is the responsibility of the person hiring the vehicle to return it in the
same condition. In the case of heavy soiling and excessive dirt internally or externally, the person hiring the car
will be asked to pay an additional 500 Baht for the valeting of the vehicle. SMOKERS Please Note: Some or all of

Immediate Vehicle Return Where Damage or Default
The owner shall have the right to terminate the hiring and take immediate possession of the vehicle if the hirer
fails to comply with any of the terms of the hire agreement, or if the vehicle is damaged.
The termination of the hiring shall be without prejudice to the rights of the owner and the rights of the hirer under
the hire agreement.
